I Noticed Lower Back Pain When I Over Slept...

Sometimes being in one position for too long can result in pain. This may happen when you are at work or maybe in a vehicle etc.

You may also be in one position when you sleep. You may have trained yourself not to move around and bump your partner or all the covers have you packed into one immobile way you are laying down.

Sometimes the way you are lying down is the culprit. For example lying on your left side gives you some pain but you are so tired you fall asleep that way...

"I Apparently Have Some Bulging Discs, But No Pain?"

This is very good but doesn't mean you should ignore them. If you have discs that are bulging or protruding, it can be a sign that there is breakdown.

Probably one of the best things to do is get your spine checked by the Chiropractor. They can tell you if something really out of alignment and needs lining up. Keep in mind, that a healthy, in aligned spine, holds the discs in place better.

You may also be able to tell if your spine is way off line by looking at your posture.

Since I Have Improved My Posture, I Seem To Have Less Pains...

This makes sense because your posture directly relates to your spine. If your spine is out of alignment that means your posture is out of whack. This essentially means there's pressure on nerves. Pressure on nerves equals pain or other problems.

So, chances are if you are posture is good that means your spine is in alignment and that means there will be no pressure on nerves.

If all the nerves are free of pressure your body can work like it should and you'll have less pain.

Knowing your spine is out of alignment is good because you can do something about it. You won't always have pain right away because not all the nerves that you have can detect pain. So poor posture is a sign that you need to fix your spine or put things in alignment.

How Can I Choose A Chiropractor?

The best way is how you choose any professional, get recommendations. After that it's their location, their bedside manner, how they adjust you, maybe how you feel, etc...

Either way, you can always go somewhere else. I guess that's a perk of "freedom"! Go where you like, see who you like, and on and on.

Don't go by who your insurance company says to go to, or if their price is better, you name it.

"I Haven't Really Had Pain, Should I Still Get Adjusted?

You can have nerve pressure and no pain; only a certain percentage of the nervous system detects pain.
